Client Vehicle Invoice Accounts Ledger Parts Orders Utilities Docket Workshop
To perform a "Part History" search by Vehicle, select Parts
from the Main Menu. From the drop down menu, select Part
History. Select by Vehicle from the
submenu. G-E presents the Vehicle Search list.
Select the vehicle for which you wish
to perform the part history search. G-E presents a list of all parts fitted to
the selected vehicle. The information presented in the list is the same as above
in history by client.
Be aware, the vehicle search list shows options for
last name and first name search. These alternative methods are for finding the
vehicle. Finding the vehicle by last name or first name will present a result
for the vehicle owned by the client name you selected, not the client.
The History Dialogue presented
shows each entry for each part fitted to the vehicle. The screen is divided into
columns; Code: Shows the
part codes of each part. Model: Shows the type of
library entry for the part. Invoice: Shows
the invoice number for the specific entry. Description: Shows the part description as listed in the
parts library. Cost: Shows the list price
the part was sold for on the invoice. Per:
Shows how the part is sold. Qty: Shows the
quantity of the part sold on the invoice. Total: Shows the total price of the part sold on the
invoice. (Cost x Qty).
