Part history is a particularly useful tool as selling parts is a large part of any workshop operation and profit. Part history will show statistics for any part on the system. These statistics include the total quantity of the part sold and the total revenue the part has generated. Part history is also useful for estimating job costs. Let us set a scenario:

You have to estimate a clutch job for a Hilux. If you have done this job before, perform a part history search for a Hilux clutch kit. The search will list all invoices on which this kit was sold. Highlight an entry and view the invoice. You have an instant costing for the job. This is obviously far more accurate than trying to estimate labour times etc.

Part History by Client returns a list of all parts sold to a selected client. Part History by Vehicle returns a list of all parts fitted to a selected vehicle.
