Client Vehicle Invoice Accounts Ledger Parts Orders Utilities Docket Workshop
New Kit is used to create a new kit from scratch. To create a new kit, select Utilities from the Main Menu. Select Kit from the drop down menu. Select New Kit from the sub menu. The New Kit dialogue is presented.
Enter the vehicle model this kit is to suit in the Model field. Leave the field blank if the kit is to be global. Enter a search code for this kit into the Code field. Enter a description of the kit in the Description field so the contents of the kit may be identified.
Add parts, labour, sublet work and other revenue to the kit using the Insert Part / Code and Insert Part / Model controls. Type the text for the kit into the Notes field. Text can be imported from the text libraries if required. Use the Toggle Case control to change the case text correctly if required.
When you have
finished creating the kit, select the Save Kit control to
save the kit to the library. The kit is then available for importing into a work
order or quote.
Note:
The
Save Kit control is unavailable if no code is entered in the Code
field.
